Cache Creek Regional Park Campground is located at
1475 State Highway 16, Rumsey, CA
How will camping be different during the COVID-19 pandemic?
-The campground will be closed every Monday-Tuesday.
-Walk-up reservations will not be accepted.
-Individual campsites should be occupied only by members of the same household.
-Firewood will not be sold at the campground.
-The campground will be operating at a reduced capacity for the season.
-Beach access is limited. No large gatherings. Social distance at all times. Facemasks to be worn if necessary. Pedestrian access only from campsites (parking area closed). If social distancing cannot be maintained and gatherings are too large, access to the beach may be closed at any time.
-Group Sites will be closed.
-Playground equipment will be closed.
-No Day Use visitors. Registered campers only.
Tell us more about Cache Creek Canyon
Cache Creek Canyon's peaks reach higher than 2200 feet in elevation while the campground is at approximately elevation 600, leading to a beautiful setting for camping, hiking and picnicking.
Are there park hosts?
A park host resides on site to assist campers with check-in and check-out and with visitors as needed.
Can I buy firewood?
The campground will not be selling firewood during the 2020 camping season. Please be prepared to bring your own locally purchased firewood.
